Glamping FAQs

  • Can I bring my dog?

No pets at all are allowed in our Bubbletents.

  • Is there WIFI?

We currently can’t offer you WIFI but there is decent mobile coverage at the farm.

  • Can babies/toddlers sleep in the main Bubbletent?

We don’t allow babies or toddlers - or children under 7 years - to stay in our glamping sites.

  • Is the toilet inside?

Yes our eco-toilet is located in the small bathroom bubble attached to the main Bubbletent. This is a composting toilet as the Bubble is primarily off grid inside.

  • What time is check in and check out?

Check in is 3PM and check out is 10am.

  • What happens if it rains?

During the day you can relax in the tent or head into Tenterfield or further afield for a selection of indoor activities. We provide under cover cooking gas stove facilities so that you still can make a meal should you want to camp out. We don’t refund bookings or change dates in the instance of rain.

  • Do I need a 4WD?

No, you can reach each tent by standard 2WD car. You cannot however drive anywhere else on the farm due to the large and unseen granite boulders. You can also reach scenic drives and national parks by standard car. Some of these roads are unsealed.

  • Is it cold in the Bubbletent?

Winter in Tenterfield is cold, perfect for those who enjoy crisp weather and campfires. Each tent features luxurious silk quilts, including a winter option and an electric blanket for warmth. An outdoor campfire is available, except during bushfire season. Due to cooler evenings and changing weather, we recommend bringing a waterproof jacket, scarf, beanie, and warm footwear. Families in the Tiny Bubble Tent receive thermal-rated sleeping bags.

  • What clothes do I need to bring?

For the cooler months we recommend you bring an outdoor waterproof jacket, warm jacket or fleece, scarf, beanie, gloves plus warm waterproof footwear – if you feel the cold, thermal clothes may be an option for night time. Winter time temps can drop below zero, so a warm jumper is a must as well. During the warmer months make sure you bring a hat and sturdy enclosed shoes for walking.

  • What food should I bring?

We provide breakfast but you will need to self-cater for the rest of your meals and snacks during your stay at Mirumiru Bubbletent. We also recommend you bring water for your stay - in the instance of a power outage our off-grid water pump may not work. Our digital guest book will recommend our favourite places to eat and drink at.

  • Is our tent private?

Each tent has been positioned in our farm to give our guests maximum privacy. Not only that we have a privacy screen for each outdoor bath area. We ask our guests to remain in their allocated campsite area to ensure we meet privacy goals and keep everyone safe.

  • Can we stay in the tent during the day?

You can use the tent during cooler days, but it's hard to see inside because of the heat shield. In summer, avoid staying inside on hot days. Instead, relax in the shade outside or visit our large dam or a local swimming spot.
